We love Star Taco and making tacos - and Smash Burgers! - and all the new things.
But, we also missed Star ⭐️ Diner. And by "we" I mean owners, staff, guests, staff's kids - EVERYone.
So, we started doing monthly "Star ⭐️ Diner Nights."
But how to communicate to 'the masses' that, most Thursdays, we're open for dinner from 5:00 til 8:00 but some Thursdays, you have to have a reservation & even with a reservation, you aren't getting a Smashburger or a taco of any sort?
I went with "Third Thursday" because it's catchy and something the Downtown Marshall Association sponsored as a whole-town event, in years past.
And, it's fitting – lots of folks who came to the town event also dined at Star ⭐️ Diner while they were here for the music and such.
Thing is, it isn't a whole-town event now. Or maybe it will be again. I'm not sure – I missed the last DMA meeting. 😬🤷🏻♀️
So. That's the story – we are open as Star 🌮 Taco on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm – 8pm.
Every THIRD Thursday of the month, we don't have tacos and we DO have old Star ⭐️ Diner entrees, table-service & reservations. Reservations cannot be requested via phone or email – the ONLY way to make a request is through the google form links.
And, every Wednesday we're doing Star Diner- style Prix Fixe dinners, with weekly emails coming to all our followers with that week's menu & instructions on how to make reservations.
